On September 12, a small but meaningful beginning was made in Diganwela with the opening of a Branch Sabbath School. What began with just 12 children has already become a beautiful testimony of God’s blessing.

Within just two weeks, the number of children increased to 20. Each Sabbath, the growing group brings new joy and hope as the children gather to learn about Jesus, sing, pray, and grow together in faith.

On October 4, we were especially blessed with a wonderful Children’s Day programme. The children participated with joy, and it was encouraging to see the commitment of the lay members who are faithfully working to establish this ministry and take the first steps toward reopening the church.

Diganwela reminds us that great things can begin with something small. A few children, a willing group of members, and a heart committed to God can become the beginning of something much greater.

We praise God for what He has already started in Diganwela, and we continue to pray that this Branch Sabbath School will grow, that more children and families will be reached, and that the church will once again become a vibrant place of worship and fellowship.

May God bless the children, the dedicated members, and everyone who is working faithfully in Diganwela. We believe this is only the beginning of what God has in store.
